Hello all,

We write this pledge letter with very heavy hearts. Our son Mason Tokunaga is currently battling some major hardships and making very bad decisions. The path he is on is a path towards devastating destruction. He has grown up in church and also attended a private Christian school. He knows the goodness or God as well of the evils the enemy.

He has a lot of hurt that has not been dealt with. He is in bondage and we are praying for a miracle or Christ breaking the chains he is currently wrapped up in.

We need the body of Christ to stand alongside us in prayer and also if able, financially. That is a huge thing to ask anyone, but this is bigger than us. We are trusting God in this. We are losing our son. If he doesn't get in this program, I fear we will be planning his funeral.

We have a chance to send him to a Christian Discipleship program, Teen Challenge. This program will help him navigate and address the hurt he has suppressed. It will help him see the hope and freedom he can have in Christ.

Welcome to the Adolescent Student Sponsorship page! The Teen Challenge Adolescent Centers are a safe place for teens ages 12 -17 as they walk through recovery. The program’s mission is to provide successful recovery for teens with destructive, abusive, and addictive lifestyles through counseling, education, training, and spiritual direction. The Teen Challenge Adolescent Centers help students overcome severe life-controlling problems, such as addiction, anger, defiance, rebellion, and the impacts of exploitation, sex trafficking, and trauma.

Teen Challenge is a non-profit faith-based ministry and is largely financed through contributions from family members of the adolescent student, friends, churches, businesses, individuals, and board members who believe in our mission of helping hurting teens.
